The IPL 2025 match scheduled between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala on Thursday was unexpectedly cancelled. In response to the sudden disruption and the ongoing situation in the region, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) swiftly organized a special Vande Bharat express train to facilitate the safe and efficient travel of players and officials.
This special arrangement includes not only the players and coaching staff from both franchises but also the entire broadcasting team. A BCCI official shared that approximately 300 individuals — including athletes, team personnel, and media professionals — will travel together on the high-speed train from Dharamshala to Delhi.
The move was made to address the logistical hurdles posed by the abrupt cancellation, ensuring that everyone involved could reach their next destination safely and without delay.
